The version with a display shows a code on the screen starting with the letter “E”, while the version with indicator lights signals errors using blinking LEDs next to the vertical function buttons. The LEDs, from top to bottom, are labeled D1, D2, D3, D4 [1 is the highest, 4 is the lowest].
E01 / D4 – door open, faulty door lock
E02 / D2 – low water pressure, no water inflow
E03 / D2,D3 – the washing machine is not draining water, no low water level signal after 10 minutes from theoretical pump start
E04 / D3,D4 – washing machine overfilled with water, faulty pressure switch
E05 / D2,D4 – no signal from pressure switch after 10 minutes; water is not flowing in or is leaking during intake
E07 / D1 – water at the bottom of the machine, emergency float triggered
E08 / D1,D2,D3,D4 – voltage in the power supply is too low or too high
E09 / D1,D3,D4 – excessive foam detected
E11 / D4 – damaged triac responsible for powering the door lock
E21/22 – damaged tachogenerator or coil, motor triac shorted on the control board, incorrect voltage reading from the tachogenerator to the control board
E23 / D3 – damaged motor thermal fuse or motor brushes
E31,32 / D1,D4 – shorted thermistor
E42 / D4 – door lock cannot be released, shorted L and C contacts
E52 / D1,D2 – memory error
