Microsoft Xbox 360

If there’s no video signal and three red lights are on, turn on the console and wait until the lights begin blinking.
Press and hold the sync button (used to pair controllers) and simultaneously press EJECT.
Count how many lights flash and press EJECT again.
Repeat this step four times total – each cycle reveals a part of the error code.

LED blink count legend:

  • 4 lights on = 0

  • 1 light = 1

  • 2 lights = 2

  • 3 lights = 3
